When I found out about a Harry Potter wedding shoot from Glamour & Grind, I just had to be a part of it. I was one of the first people to sign up for Pottermore back in 2011.I was also one of those people wearing a homemade t-shirt to the final two movie premieres. So, to say I’m a huge Harry Potter fan is an understatement.
As a wedding photographer, I am part of a lot of different industry groups. I love meeting up with others in the industry because it allows for great networking between other wedding professionals. One of the ways I do this is through styled shoots. For those unfamiliar with the concept, it is essentially a themed photoshoot involving a ton of different wedding vendors. From florists to hair and makeup artists to wedding gown boutiques, the vendors get together to create a theme that is cohesive and of course, beautiful to photograph.
It’s easy to think a Harry Potter wedding shoot could come off a little kitschy but Glamour & Grind executed this in a way that was truly elegant. Below you will find some of my favorite images I captured as well as some brief information about each amazing vendor involved.
